There is now an official date for the Space Shuttle Enterprise’s long-awaited arrival in New York City.
The spacecraft will touch down at John F. Kennedy International Airport on April 23rd, according to a report from The Gothamist.
A welcome celebration is planned for the 23rd before the retired shuttle makes its home at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum later in June.
New York Senator Charles Schumer was thrilled to announce the news, touting the shuttle as the next iconic, must-see destination in New York City.
