British Airways and Spanish Carrier, Iberia, Merge

Announced on Friday, British Airways and Iberia have joined forces.

 

The  two airlines now bring together a total of 406 planes and fly to 250 travel destinations.

 

The merger is set fly 57 million passengers, bringing in an estimated $19 billion in annual revenue.
The merger opens up the reach for both airlines. British Airways is now more accessible to South American routes via Iberia, and Iberia can now reach more North American locals through British Airways.
Both airlines will maintain their name and are looking to add to their new group and acquire more airlines,
