Alaska

A winter wedding in America’s “Last Frontier” offers couples the chance to get away from it all and admire each other alongside the grandeur of Mother Nature. If trekking through the wilderness in snowshoes sounds like the best way to spend your big day, Alaska is where you should get hitched. If you want the look and feel of the far northwest without straying too far from civilization, keep in mind that Anchorage sees an average of 17 inches of snow in December.

Colorado

The Colorado Rockies (specifically Georgetown, Colorado) are the snowiest place in the US. With a strong hospitality industry suited to ensuring folks have amazing ski trips and winter vacations, you can rest assured you’re wedding party will be looked after well. Whether getting married at a hotel or restaurant in Denver or hitting the slopes, you’ll have plenty of options of where to say “I do” around the beautiful snow-filled scenery.

Finland
