Are you a fan of The Walking Dead? And we’re not just talking about the hit series. If you’re into gruesome and frightening creatures from beyond the grave, then these zombie events around the world will surely interest you. But beware…the undead will be everywhere you turn!

Stockholm Zombie Walk

The annual zombie walk, which takes places in Stockholm … is the ultimate frightening event filled with ghoulish creatures. Here, you’ll find unique yet cringe-worthy zombies…but that’s the point! If attending the zombie walk, you’re going to have to fit in by getting your zombie look on because the streets are swarmed with the walking dead from all angles. It’s a zombie apocalypse!

Sitges Zombie Walk

You may have missed this year’s Sitges Zombie Walk sponsored by Jack Daniel’s in Spain, but you’ll want to keep this event in mind for the future. Located about 28 miles south of Barcelona, you can find the parade of zombies. The walk usually starts at 8 p.m. and is held in October. Although the zombies don’t begin walking until later in the evening, many flock to the event by noon (the earliest) to have their zombie makeup professionally done…but attendees must arrive early due to limited seating. And the best part is, the zombie walk highlights the annual Sitges Film Festival.

Asbury Park Zombie Walk

In past years this zombie walk has broken a world record for the most zombies in attendance — a whopping 9,592 in 2013 to be exact. It’s held annually at the Asbury Park Boardwalk in the month of October. Besides walking, the event provides a Thriller dance workshop and a Jello brain eating contest. If you’re not afraid of the many zombies and are excited for a scare, then get there!

Zombie Terror in the Tunnels

Will you survive? Prepare to be chased and scared by the undead in the U.K.’s Birmingham with the Zombie Terror in the Tunnels. Gather up your best pals to create a team and battle the many zombies who will disrupt you while trying to gather survival tools. And watch out, from 7 p.m., all the way until everyone that survived has completed the obstacle,  there’s a lot more than just zombies you’ll have to face! Look out for the horrifying clowns, and other monsters who are all on the hunt to kill!

World Zombie Day: London

It’s a scary good cause…literally! This event has been held in London for a decade now, attracting tons of zombie lovers from all over the world. The charity walk is held annually to raise money and awareness for world hunger and homelessness all in celebration of World Zombie Day. Today, more than 50 cities worldwide participate in World Zombie Day including, New York, Paris, Hong Kong, and more! Check to see if your city participates in WZD to raise awareness for this cause and join in on the spooky fun!
