In August Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport set a record with passenger traffic, as 2.1 million people traveled through the airport.
This was the second-busiest month in history BWI, with just one month earlier setting a record of 2.2 million passengers passing through.
The August traffic showed an increase of 5.2 percent from the same month the previous year.
