An elderly passenger aboard a Southwest Airlines flight was arrested Tuesday night for punching a teenage boy who refused to turn off his cell phone.
According to police, the incident took place during the landing procedure after the plane crew urged passengers to turn off all electronic devices.
68-year-old Russell Miller was booked on a misdemeanor battery charge following the incident.
The teenage boy, who was flying alone, did not require immediate medical attention.
