It was announced that Continental Airlines is adding another route to its repertoire with a direct flight from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. It’ll begin on June 9th.
They’ll be flying to Haiti three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Continental will be looking to make daily flights by July 1st.
The four-hour flight leaves in the morning at 9:25 a.m. and arrives in Haiti at 12:15 p.m. The flight back from Haiti to Newark, New Jersey departs at 1:20 p.m. and lands in NJ at 6:15 p.m.
The airline will be flying a Boeing
737-800 aircraft, which carries 160 traveler.
