Located on an isthmus on the Waitemata
Harbour, Auckland City is the largest city in New Zealand.
The city’s skyline is dominated by the Sky Tower, New Zealand’s tallest man-made structure at 1, 076 feet (328 meters.)
The tower offers a rotating restaurant, three observation decks, and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for thrill-seekers. Adrenaline junkies can get their fix by participating in a Sky Walk around the tower’s dizzying platform or by taking a Sky Jump bungee freefall from 630 feet up (192 meters.)
Aside from Sky Tower, Auckland is also home to beautiful beaches, exciting nightlife, and one-of-a-kind shopping. As evidenced in the travel portrait, the harbour is popular with boaters, sailors, and kayakers on warmer days.
