It sounds a lot like the plot out of a certain Samuel L. Jackson movie.
Officials at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta say that two Kuwaiti men were arrested after they brazenly attempted to smuggle 40 pythons on a recent flight to Dubai.
The snakes were discovered after the men’s bags were sent through X-Ray scanners.
The men later admitted that they intended to sell the snakes to collectors in the United Arab Emirates. Each is now facing up to seven years in prison and steep fines of up to $32,000.
