Two of Las Vegas’ most luxurious resorts are celebrating their recent accolades with a one-of-a-kind scavenger hunt.
Once again, The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas have both been recognized with the prestigious AAA Five Diamond Award for 2012. The award signifies meticulous attention to detail and impeccable standards of excellence in the hospitality industry. It is awarded to only half of a percent of all 31,000 AAA-approved properties in the United States.
2012 marks the fifth consecutive year that the Venetian has been recognized with the award and the third consecutive year for The Palazzo. To celebrate, the Sin City resorts are launching a joint “Five Day, Five Diamond Scavenger Hunt” between August 22 and 26.
Each day during the promotion, guests and visitors will have a chance to win some amazing prizes by finding a diamond hidden somewhere throughout both resorts. Daily clues to the leading diamonds’ location will be broadcast via Twitter from the @PalazzoLasVegas and @VenetianVegas Twitter accounts.
To officially enter the contest, participants who find a diamond must follow both accounts and Tweet a photo of themselves with their find to the corresponding resort and include the special #5day5diamond hash tag.
Daily winners will be selected randomly for a chance to win spectacular prizes, including a two night stay at The Venetian or The Palazzo, tickets to one of the resorts’ acclaimed shows, dinner for two, a private gondola ride, a gift certificate to The Grand Canal Shoppes and The Shoppes at The Palazzo and an extravagant 18 karat white gold, diamond-encrusted pendant from luxury jewelry designer Simon G. Jewelry.
