Planning a summer vacation is not always my favorite step in the travel process. Give me a packing challenge over trying to color a blank itinerary any day. With so many places to see in this world and time constraints, planning out your summer itinerary can be a lengthy process. If you are like me in the hate-to-plan department, AirBerlin might have an itinerary for you this summer. With a wealth of destinations and departure points across the United States and the world, an AirBerlin summer sale could write your itinerary for you and help you save in the process.
One Travel has a few clues about this summer with AirBerlin that might peak your interest. I will be traveling to Berlin, Stockholm and Palma de Mallorca with AirBerlin over the next week on behalf of One Travel. Flight searchers will want to stay tuned for the special fare sale to Europe with AirBerlin, as more details will be revealed with each stop on my itinerary. Even if you can’t take part in the AirBerlin sale, the stops along the way might help you with that blank page on your next summer itinerary.
Berlin: One Travel will take off from New York to Berlin for a look at Germany’s capital. Long at the forefront and crossroads of history, I plan on experiencing Berlin’s mix of fortitude and charm. From bike tours, gallery visits and lots of currywurst and schnitzel, Berlin offers travelers a great deal to keep busy. Key stops like the Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie have long enticed visitors to Germany’s capital.
Stockholm: One Travel will then head to the Scandinavian stunner of Stockholm for a little midnight sun. While I have visited Stockholm before, I’m anxious to see more of its cobbled old town, Gamla Stan and even one of its 24,000 surrounding isles of the archipelago. Complete with a 1628 sunken warship at the Vasa Museum, Stockholm can be pure magic in the summer time when the temperatures bring many out of winter hibernation.
Palma de Mallorca:Set up on the island of Mallorca, Palma de Mallorca is the capital of the largest of Spain’s Balearic Islands. Palma will be our third stop on this AirBerlin summer itinerary. I have a feeling Palma is a faithful worshipper of the sun, sand and sea just based off of Mallorca’s location in the Mediterranean. Located at the southern tip of the island, One Travel will spend some time exploring the island and the capital, a city the Moors very much wanted to protect as seen by its daunting yet alluring walls.
