Older kids will enjoy the World of Coca Cola, which presents a history of the Coca Cola company, interactive activities, and a “tasting room” where you can sample most of the products produced by the Coca Cola company. Get ready for a sugar rush!
The Georgia Aquarium
One of the largest in the world, the Georgia Aquarium is filled with fascinating creatures like jellyfish, otters, penguins, sharks, catfish, piranha, and belugas. The museum is divided into five areas, one of the most popular being the Georgia Explorer, which has an aquatic-themed play areas and touch pools for kids. The Georgia Aquarium is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
Atlanta Botanical Garden
The renowned Atlanta Botanical Garden is a great place to take kids. In fact, there is a separate children’s garden that is designed specifically for young visitors. Kids will love the interactive nature and the educational activities that focus on themes such as butterflies, bees, and regional flora. Be sure to swing by the Japanese Garden and the indoor conservatory, which has a tropical rotunda and a Desert House filled with exotic plants.
