The owners of Las Vegas’ Hooters Casino Hotel have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The request comes as the hotel’s parent company, 155 East Tropicana LLC, looks to restructure millions in bad debt.
Vegas night “owls” shouldn’t worry just yet, however. Operations at the casino hotel are expected to continue normally during the proceedings.
The company also made it clear that the filing would have zero effect on the nationwide chain of Hooters Restaurants. The restaurants are owned and franchised separately by Atlanta-based Hooters of America LLC.
