In a deal announced Monday, Ceasars Palace will soon turn over one of the towers in its enormous Las Vegas resort to Nobu Hospitality, a Japanese lifestyle company partially owned by actor Robert DeNiro and renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
The company currently operates 26 restaurants across five continents and will also open a 9,500 square ft. restaurant at the base of the tower.
The hotel will be staffed by Ceasars employees but will undergo a complete re-design and feature its own check-in area upon completion.
Nobu CEO Trevor Horwell said he hopes the boutique hotel will mark just the first of many unique destinations for Nobu enthusiasts.
“We’re not looking to have hotels in excess of 200 rooms,” Horwell said. “Nobu today is a lifestyle brand. We want to be in the luxury hotel market with something different and diverse.”
