New York City’s Museum Mile festival kicks off Tuesday, with free admission offered at nine museums along Fifth Avenue between 6 pm and 9 pm.
Fifth Avenue will be shut down to traffic between 82nd and 105th streets so revelers can enjoy roving street entertainment, outdoor art exhibitions, and live music.
Participating museums include the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Jewish Museum, the National Academy Museum & School, and the Museum of the City of New York among others.
