Delta Airlines is considering giving refunds to customers who cancel travel plans due to concerns over the new airport security measures.
Passengers have voiced passionate complaints about the TSA’s new screening procedures, which include intimate pat-downs of passengers who choose not to go through the full body scanners.
On Monday a Delta spokesperson said that the airline is issuing refunds on a case-by-case basis for customers worried about the new screening steps.
At American Airlines, a spokesperson said that company isn’t changing its ticket policies because it doesn’t control the security procedures.
US Airways and Continental said the same. Customers could get their money back on if they purchased a refundable ticket, these tickets normally cost more.
