One of London’s most prestigious addresses in Knightsbridge will be the site for a new 35 suite luxury townhouse hotel. The hotel is scheduled to open in November 2012 and it aims to be the first 6 star hotel for the capital.
The Wellesley will be situated at 11 Knightsbridge and will be run by Arab Investments’ City and Country hotels. It’s being developed by Rhimesong at a cost of 36 million pounds in renovation costs.
The new luxury will offer both contemporary and classic style with interiors managed by award winning Fox Linton using a combination of the building’s 1920’s art deco past and glamour and the incredible wide colonnades from which the Cigar Terraces, The Crystal Bar and the Oval restaurant will be centered around.
The hotel bedroom are to be held over six floors, with the sixth floor providing London’s most acclaimed suite due to the uninterrupted views over Hyde park. A private elevator and a four bedroom suite will make it the largest capacity suite in London, and it will provide all the technological advancements to make it secure for business travelers as well as those needing the extra rooms.
