President Obama, First Family Join Star Studded Line-Up for National Tree Lighting Ceremony

President Obama and the First Family will join a star-studded line-up Thursday night for the 89th annual lighting of the National Christmas Tree.

 

The Obamas will join Carson Daly, Kermit the Frog, musicians will.i.am and OneRepublic among others inside President’s Park for the ceremony. Santa Claus himself is  also expected to make an appearance before the night is through.

 

Throughout December, thousands of visitors are expected to view the tree as a part of the holiday celebration in the nation’s capital.
