Today Lufthansa announced that it will be the first airline to offer Airbus A380 service to Miami International Airport.
The airline will begin flying the aircraft on the popular Frankfurt/Miami route beginning June 10, 2011.
Lufthansa’s superjumbo can seat 526 passengers and features the airline’s brand new First Class accommodations.
Lufthansa also announced that it will reinstate seasonal service between Miami and Düsseldorf in October.
The Düsseldorf flights will culminate in November following the conclusion of carnival season.
