Vacation is supposed to be easy, breezy, beautiful relaxation time—meaning you shouldn’t have to fret over finding a connecting flight. With Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, booking flights on multiple carriers won’t be part of your itinerary.
Through a codeshare partnership with Etihad Airways, Jet Airways expands its connectivity to European destinations including Amsterdam, Manchester, Munich, Paris, Dublin, Milan, and others. The codeshare also covers major North American destinations like Chicago, New York (JFK), and Washington as well as Johannesburg and Nairobi in Africa and Brisbane in Australia.
Meanwhile, Etihad Airways expands its offering of flights operated between Abu Dhabi and key destinations in India such as Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Additionally, Etihad guests can access Far East Asian destinations between Mumbai, Delhi Chennai and Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.
A codeshare means that two or more airlines—in this case, Jet Airways and Etihad—share flights. For example, a traveler can purchase a seat through Jet Airways, even though the aircraft is operated by Etihad. Ultimately, customers will reap the benefits of a larger network and significantly greater choice of schedules and connectivity. Who doesn’t like options?
And if that’s not enough for you, there’s even more good news! Frequent flyer members of Jet Privilege and Etihad Guest will access reciprocal benefits, including racking up status miles and points, priority check-in, boarding and baggage tagging, lounge access, and excess baggage allowances. Flying has never seemed so easy, and that’s exactly the way it should be.
