Giza
On the West Bank of the Nile in Egypt, Giza is home to the iconic Sphinx and the famous Three Pyramids, the largest of which was listed by Antipater of Sidon as one of the Seven Wonders of the World in 140 BC. It is the oldest of the ancient wonders by a long shot and the only one that can still be seen today.
Himalayas
With nine of the ten highest peaks on Earth and spread across six nations – Tibet (Tibetan Autonomous Region of China), India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan – the Himalayas are a mighty sight to behold. Just to see them with your own eyes would be great, but for those who crave a bit more adrenaline climbing them would definitely be an option!
Italy
Should you go to Rome? Venice? Florence? Naples? Sicily? YES! Making someone decide on just one place to visit in Italy is cruel considering how many historic and beautiful cities, villages, beaches, mountains, ancient ruins, museums, restaurants, and more await!
