Marina Beach
Marina Beach is one of the longest urban beaches in the world. Located

Besant Nagar in the South and St. George Fort in the North. It is a popular
picnic spot well known for its long stretch of silver sand and azure
waters. The sea drive is bordered by casuarinas and palms. Lighthouse
located at the southern end of the sea offers panoramic views of the city.
At Marina Beach visitors can enjoy various activities such as fishing, wind
surfing, kite flying, sunbathing, and beach volleyball.
Shirdi Sai Baba Temple
Shirdi Sai Baba Temple was built in the memory of adored saint- Sai Baba of
Shirdi. The unique attraction of this temple is that it still holds aflame
a part of flame lit by the saint himself. A special puja (prayer), named
Agni Puja, is performed in this temple on every Sunday. It remains open for
public everyday from 8 AM to 12 PM and then from 4 PM to 9 PM.
Arignar Anna Zoological Park
Arignar Anna Zoological Park is located at a distance of around 35
kilometers from Chennai. It is an excellent place to visit for wildlife
lovers and nature buffs. The park is home to more than 170 species of
mammals, reptiles, and birds, such as tiger, blackbuck, jaguar, baboon,
Nilgiri langur, star tortoise, Ilama, and more. This zoo also features Deer
Safari park and Lion Safari Park where visitors can see animals in their
natural habitat.

Weather-wise, the best time to book flights from San Francisco to Chennai
is in winters i.e. from November to February. In this season, the weather
remains pleasant with occasional rainfall. Winter season also brings
festivity to the city and therefore one must book Chennai flights in
advance to avoid soaring rates during peak season.
