The National Museum of Anthropology
The National Museum of Anthropology is home to a remarkable collection of

of Anthropology that has a collection of more than 300000 rare books and
manuscripts.
Templo Mayor and the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlán
Mexico City was home to Aztec Empire and even though the city and the
empire were both destroyed by Spanish conquistadors in 1521 AD, many
historic spots evaded destruction. Central to them all are the ruins of
Templo Mayor (or the Great Temple of Tenochtitlán) that is hallmarked by a
3-meter-wide round disc that weighs 2.5 tons. This is flanked at some
distance by an earlier pyramid that was used a place of offering
sacrifices.
