Oceanario de Lisboa (Lisbon Oceanarium)
Lisbon Oceanarium is one of the finest aquariums of Europe & one of the
largest in the world. Built for the Expo 98 World Exposition, the
Oceanarium was designed by Peter Chermayeff. It is home to a varied range
of fish & marine animals including different species of birds. The
aquarium features 4 permanent exhibits which represent different habitats.
These exhibits hold various types of fish, amphibians, birds, &
mammals. Here, visitors can witness sea stars, corals, penguins, puffins,
sea otters, and more.
Belem
Belem is a historic neighborhood of the city of Lisbon. Situated here are
several important monuments, museums, Pasteis de Belem-a very famous
Portuguese tart place. Some of the attractions of the area are the Belem
Tower, the Belem Palace, Jeronimos Monastery, Discoveries Monument, Colecao
Berardo Museum, and scenic gardens.
Sintra
Sintra lies approximately 20 miles away from the city of Lisbon. While

The months from March-May and September-October are the best to book cheap
flights from Newark to Lisbon. Avoid booking flights from EWR to LIS during
