Mercer County is a county in the state of New Jersey in the US. Its county seat and state capital is Trenton. It was named in honor of Continental Army General Hugh Mercer, who died after a battle in American Revolutionary War in 1777 AD. Mercer County is a one of the highest-income counties in the country.
