Iliamna Lake
Iliamna Lake is the largest lake in the USA and the second largest freshwater lake in the country after Lake Superior. This lovely lake flows in 1,000 square miles with a length of 75 miles and 20 miles wide. Iliamna Lake is home to the largest sockeye salmons around the world. Other world-class fishing options include lake trout, Dolly Varden, grayling, and arctic char. This lake is linked to Bristol Bay by the Kvichak River and sometimes boasts a resident population of harbor seals as well.
St. Nicholas Orthodox Chapel
A historic Russian Orthodox Church in Pedro Bay, St. Nicholas Chapel was listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Built in 1890, this chapel still appears unaltered from its original construction.
