Muskogee, a city in Oklahoma, US, is loaded with ample of attractions and events. Each April thousands of visitors get attracted towards its annual "Azalea Festival." For those interested in music, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame is a place to visit. The centre holds plenty of musical events throughout the year. The Castle of MuskogeeThe Castle of Muskogee is spread over an area of around 36,000 square feet. The entire area comprises a torture chamber, a dungeon, and catacombs. There are three pirate ships, a fairy boardwalk, a working clock tower, a jousting arena, a mermaid cove, and an Italian piazza in the village. Each year events and festivals such as the annual Oklahoma Renaissance Festival, Halloween Festival, Zombie Run, Boare's Head Feaste, and Castle Christmas are held here.
Honor Heights ParkThe Honor Heights Park is known as "the Crown Jewel" amongst all parks in Muskogee. Spread across nearly 132 acres of area, the park features several picnic areas, a gift shop, public restrooms, two picnic shelters, splash pad, three tennis courts, open play areas, lakes, ponds, and more. Located in the park are three trails - the Audubon Trail, Henry Bresser Nature Trail, and Stem Beach Trail. Several seasonal activities are held in the park such as Garden of Lights, Azalea Festival, and more.
Three Forks HarborThe Three Forks Harbor is located near the confluence of the three rivers-Arkansas, Grand, and Verdigris. The harbor offers public boating providing easy access to the sea ports of the world and country's waterways. Located here is a multipurpose center and plaza which has been designed by GH2 Architects. Day-by-day harbor is becoming a major attraction for fishermen, hikers, bikers, boaters, and other outdoor enthusiasts.
