Innoko National Wildlife Refuge
Accessible from McGrath by air, Innoko National Wildlife Refuge is a national wildlife refuge located in western Alaska. It is the fifth largest national wildlife refuge in the country. The topography of the refuge is swampy and is nestling area for birds including red-tailed hawks, ospreys, bald eagles, northern hawk-owls, common ravens, trumpeter swans, short-eared owls, and many more. Mammalian species that reside this refuge are wolf, brown and black bears, mink, Alaskan moose, Canadian lynx, porcupine, marten, river otter, beaver, wolverine, red fox, and muskrat.

A 702-mile long river flowing in the Southwest Alaska, Kuskokwim River is the ninth largest river in the United States of America. In addition, it is the longest free flowing river in the country. Visitors can enjoy boating in this lovely river.
