Tbilisi

To the south of the city is located the neighborhood of Abanotubani renowned for its dome-shaped Sulphur bathhouses built in the 17th century.

Batumi

A Black Sea resort and port city, Batumi is the capital of the Georgian republic of Adjara. The city’s boulevard includes a waterfront walkway with a park and beach. Another major tourist attraction in the city Alphabetic Tower, is ornamented with Georgian script and boasts a seaside observation deck. The old town district is lined with the 19th-century buildings. Nature lovers can head north of the city where Batumi Botanical Garden boasts flora from around the world.

Kutaisi

A city in west Georgia, Kutaisi is famous for being home to the centuries-old Bagrati Cathedral. History lovers can go to the city's outskirts where there is located the Gelati Monastery, a medieval cathedral with intricate murals. Located near the Gelati Monastery, the hillside Motsameta Monastery features martyrs' remains. History lovers must not miss-out-on visiting Kutaisi State Historical Museum boasting historical Georgian manuscripts, textiles, and ceramics. Nature lovers can visit the northwest Kutaisi where Prometheus Cave offers stunning views of cascading waterfalls.
