Eastsound is an unincorporated community on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington State, US. It is the largest population center on Orcas Island, the second-most populated and physically largest of the San Juan Islands. It is best known for its tri-pronged offerings consisting of scenic locations, community events and adventure sports like hiking and mountain trekking. You would find this village an endearing sum of 19th century houses, galleries, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and a history museum. Orcas Island Historical Museum
The Orcas Island Historical Museum is the only object-based heritage facility pertaining to the island. It has nearly 6000 household items, tools, paper documents and photographs related to the Native American and early European-American settlers of this area. It is housed inside six original homestead cabins that were built during 1860-80 AD.

Ranked one of the top boating destinations in the world, Sucia Island Marine State Park is a 564-acre marine park with nearly 78000 feet of sprawling shoreline in Eastsound. The park has 25 picnic sites and 5 picnic shelters. It also has 10 miles of hiking trails, 640 feet of dock, boating facilities, diving and fishing features besides 60 campsites and 4 group camps.
