Sofia
Capital of Bulgaria, Sofia is located at the foot of Vitosha Mountain.
Formerly under Greek, Roman, and Ottoman rule, the city’s history spans
over 2,000 years. Sofia is sprawled with historic landmarks such as Serdica
Fort, Roman-Byzantine Church of St. George, Banya Bashi Mosque, Church of
St. Nicholas the Miracle-Maker, Church of St. Petka of the Saddlers,
Central Sofia Market Hall, Monument to the Soviet Army, Sofia Synagogue,
Eagles' Bridge, and Dragalevtsi Monastery. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, an

Plovdiv
Plovdiv is considered to be among the oldest continually inhabited cities
in Europe. Located in Southern Bulgaria, the ancient city is built around
seven hills. Plovdiv is the second largest city in Bulgaria and famed for
its well-preserved Old Town. The city is home to the Ancient Theatre of
Philippopolis, from the second century, which now hosts concerts and
operas. Visitors here will come across several landmarks such as Roman
Stadium, Church of the Holy Mother of God, Tsar Simeon Gardens, Church of
St. Constantine and Helena, Alyosha Monument, Cathedral of S.t Louis Bishop
Basilica of Philippopolis, and Dzhumaya Mosque. With its vibrant 19 th century mansions, Plovdiv is renowned for its romantic

Pleven
Nestled in the heart of the Danubian Plain, Pleven is located in northwest
Bulgaria. Situated in an agricultural region, the city serves as a cultural
and economic center. Pleven is an alluring city known for its rich
