Maun
The tourism capital of Botswana, Maun is the headquarter of several safari
and air-charter operation running trips to Okavango Delta. Though Maun is
officially a village, it has developed in a fast pace from a rural frontier
and has expanded along the Thamalakane River. While here, tourists can
enjoy wildlife and wilderness, explore excellent museum, and do lots more.
With good options for accommodation and fine tourist facilities, Maun has
rapidly grown into a great destination for vacationers. Some of the major

Kasane
Kasane is a town in the north-eastern corner of Botswana. The town is
located near the borders with Zambia, Namibia, and Zimbabwe. Kasane is the
gateway to Chobe National Park, which is popular for herds of elephants
which congregate on the Chobe River during dry season. Another excellent
place to visit for wildlife lovers here is - Caracal Biodiversity Center,
which is home to rescued wildlife.
Gaborone
The capital city of Botswana, Gaborone is known for the Gaborone Game
Reserve, which is home to native animals like impala and wildebeest, plus
several resident and migratory bird species. Located to the city’s
southwest, Mokolodi Nature Reserve is home to heaps of rhinos and giraffes.
Located in the heart of the city, National Museum and Art Gallery displays
a collection of art and cultural artefacts. Nature lovers can also head
towards National Botanical Garden displaying scores of indigenous plants;
and must also not miss out on Somarelang Tikologo Eco-park featuring an
organic garden and a playground. Art lovers must visit Thapong Visual Arts
Centre putting on display the works of local artists. In the northeast of
the city center, Maitisong Theatre displays traditional music and dance
performances, and several other events.
