Museum of Art and Archaeology
Founded in 1957, the Museum of Art and Archaeology is the art museum of the University of Missouri in Columbia. It has a superb collection of more than 14000 works of art and archaeological objects related to Greek, Roman, and Eastern art works.
David R. Francis Quadrangle (or the Quad)
David R. Francis Quadrangle is the historical center of the University of Missouri in Columbia. It is named after the former state governor, David R. Francis. Most of it was lost to a fire in January 1892, and is now survived by the Jesse Hall and the Columns. Also of note here is the tombstone of one of the Founding Fathers of America, Thomas Jefferson.
