Often referred to as GRU Airport, Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport is the primary airport serving Sao Paulo. The airport is locally known as Cumbica Airport or Guarulhos Airport. Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport is operated by GRU Airport Invepar-ACSA. Opened in 1985, the airport is a hub for Avianca Brazil, LATAM Brasil, and Gol Transportes Aeros, and is used for the focus city operations by Azul Brazilian Airlines. Guarulhos International Airport flights fly to the destinations including the likes of New York, London, Mexico City, Barcelona, and more.
