El Alto International Airport is an international airport located 8 mi (13 km) south west of La Paz, La Paz Department, Bolivia. It is a public airport which is operated by Abertis Airports and used to serve as a primary hub for the former Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano, Bolivia's flag carrier.
