Unaccompanied Minor Service

Spirit provides young flyers a comfortable and safe journey with its unaccompanied minor (UNMR) service. The airline permits children between the ages of 5 and 14 years to fly all by themselves on domestic direct flights. These unaccompanied minors are not allowed on international flights, connecting flights, or domestic flights that include a scheduled change of aircraft. Guardians are advised to ensure the children check in the gate at least 60 minutes before departure.
