Voted "Airline of the Year 2007" by Airfinance Journal, Royal Jordanian is the flag carrier of Jordan. Headquartered at Amman, Jordan, it has its main base at Queen Alia Airport. Founded in the year 1963, it operates 500 flights per week with at least 110 daily departures. This airline is also a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and Oneworld; a global airline alliance. It offers scheduled international services to 61 destinations. Chicago, Colombo, London, Mumbai, Singapore,
Toronto, Hong Kong and many more. The fleet size of Royal Jordanian comprises of Airbus A319-132, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321-200, Airbus A330-200, Airbus A340-200, Boeing 787–8, Embraer 175 and Embraer 195. It also has won the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation award for "Airline Turnaround of the Year 2006".
