Hong Kong Airlines currently flies to 35 destinations across Asia Pacific and North America, while maintaining 86 interline and 19 codeshare agreements with multiple airline partners and ferry service providers, offering its customers more choice and convenience across the continents.
Our fleet
Hong Kong Airlines operates with one of the youngest and modern fleets in the world, comprising all Airbus aircraft. From the US, we fly the brand new Airbus A350, with two cabins, economy, and business, in a 1-2-1 configuration that provides direct access to the aisle in business class.
In-Flight Amenities
Hong Kong Airlines offers botj Business and Economy Class in an in-flight experience that truly lives up to its brand promise: ‘Where Hong Kong Begins.’ Among some of the provided amenities you will find:
Onboard Cuisine
Hong Kong Airlines has partnered with San Francisco-based celebrity chef, Chris Cosentino, to develop the new menu for our two US routes with non-stop service to Hong Kong.
Cosentino, who runs the restaurant Cockscomb and was a winner on Top Chef Masters, has developed a business class menu for the airline’s Los Angeles, and San Francisco route that he describes as “big in flavor, rich in texture.”
Hong Kong Airlines offers premium quality meals in Economy Class. The airline endeavors to promote local culture via in-flight catering service. Our economy class menu departing Hong Kong now includes a range of locally inspired dishes inspired by the city’s cha chaan teng (tea restaurants).
The airline’s in-flight dining experience is further enhanced by ‘East-meets-West’ tableware, celebrating the city’s unique culture and heritage.
Web Check-In
Hong Kong Airlines offers online check-in, allowing passengers to escape the long lines at the airport. Online check-in opens 36 hours prior to flight departure. Seat selection is available with this service. Please note that unaccompanied minors are not eligible for online check-in service.
Fortune Wings Club
Fortune Wings Club is the global loyalty and rewards program for Hong Kong Airlines. The Fortune Wings Club is split into five tiers – Standard Member, Select, Silver, Gold, and Platinum – with each providing members with an increasing array of frequent flyer benefits. All members can earn and redeem points for eligible flights with Hong Kong Airlines and its airline partners.
Awards and recognition
Hong Kong Airlines has been awarded the 4-Star rating from Skytrax since 2011 and ranked one of the top 20 airlines in the world last year. The airline is also recognized for its excellent On-Time Performance, having been ranked by air travel intelligence company OAG as Asia’s most punctual airline and the three most punctual airlines globally in 2018.
