The sister airline of Emirates, flydubai is a government-owned, low-cost Arabian airline based in Dubai, UAE. It was founded in March 2008 and commenced operations in June 2009. • The airline offers 3 types of fares - Free to Change, Pay to Change and Special offer. These 3 classes each have different features and add-on fares. However, they all feature a hand-baggage allowance of 7 kg per passenger.
• Free to change comes with a checked baggage allowance of 20 kg. It also provides a fee of AED 365 per passenger in case he has missed his flight.
• Pay to change does not offer any checked-in baggage allowance. It will allow you a refund of applicable taxes if you missed your flight.
• Special offer features a checked-in baggage allowance. Traveller is allowed a refund of his taxes only.
• Economy Class passengers get comfortable, ergonomic seats with ample legroom. Passengers can also opt for more comfortable seats with extra legroom for an extra fee.
• All Economy Class seats feature HD touchscreen TVs that can be used to watch movies and TV shows or listening to music. Flights on select routes also allow passengers to purchase a premium entertainment package.
• Travellers can buy a Wi-Fi package or a live TV package on-board.

• Passengers get a dedicated and priority check-in during security clearance and baggage collection.
• Travelers boarding from Dubai International Airport can relax in Business Class lounge, and they only need to be at the gates 20 minutes before scheduled departure of their flight.
• Passengers get a carry-on baggage allowance of 14 kgs and a checked-in baggage allowance of 40 kgs.
• The airline also offers a fee of AED 365 to a passenger plus any difference in the fare for up to 96 hours after departure. However, no refunds shall be entertained.
• Passengers can relax in high-quality, reclining Italian leather seats with ample legroom. These seats have a built-in lumber support and a 12.1-inch touchscreen and a power plug.
• The airline serves delicious foods and beverages on-board. Passengers can also choose to be served pre-booked food items of their choice. However, this service is chargeable.
