Founded in 1960, Air Greenland is the flag carrier of Greenland. Headquartered in Nuuk, Air Greenland operates its flights from its hub at Kangerlussuaq Airport (Kangerlussuaq). Focus cities include Copenhagen, Ilulissat, and Nuuk. Air Greenland flights operate in the Arctic airspace. The airline offers helicopter services, charter flights, and scheduled domestic and international flights to several major destinations, namely, Aasuaat, Kulusuk, Qaanaaq, Aalborg, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Iqaluit, Reykjavik, and many more. Air Greenland fleet consists of 10 aircrafts and 18 helicopters. The aircraft fleet comprises 7 Bombardier Dash 8 Q200, 1 Airbus A330-200, 1 Boeing 737-700, and 1 Beechcraft B200 King Air, while the helicopter fleet comprises 8 Bell 212, 8 Eurocopter AS350, and 2 Sikorsky S-61N.

Air Greenland offers two different classes, Economy and Business, on international flights between Denmark and Greenland. The airline also offers two different ticket types within both classes, Restrictive and Flexible.

Economy Class

• All economy class passengers will get free meals and drinks onboard.
• Baggage allowance of 20 kgs checked-in baggage and 1 piece of cabin luggage.
• If flyers opt for an Economy Restrictive ticket, booking changes are not permitted. Only airport taxes will be refunded. While in case of an Economy Flexible ticket, flyers can make changes to their booking and even get a refund of the entire amount (after paying a refund fee of 100 Danish Krone), if they cancel the ticket.

Business Class

All business class passengers will get free meals and exclusive drinks onboard.

• Business class passengers will get daily newspapers onboard.
• Baggage allowance of 30 kgs checked-in baggage and 2 pieces of cabin luggage.
• Business class passengers also have access to the lounges in Copenhagen Airport.
• If passengers are onboard the Airbus 330, they will have an individual video screen and headset with noise suppression.
• Business class passengers will experience greater comfort in wider seats with excellent legroom in the front of the plane.
• If flyers opt for a Business Restrictive ticket, booking changes are not permitted. Only airport taxes will be refunded.
