Founded in 1936, Aer Lingus is the national flag carrier of Ireland having its principal office at Dublin Airport. Its focus city operations are at Cork Airport and Shannon Airport. Serving as the second largest airline after Ryanair, Aer Lingus enjoys a fleet of 59 aircraft and offers scheduled flights to over 77 destinations. Some of the major destinations covered by the airline include Glasgow, Ibiza, Liverpool, London, Orlando, Venice, Milan and many more. Since 2015, the airline has started flights to eight new North American gateways including San Francisco, Newark, Los Angeles, Miami, Hartford, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Minneapolis−Saint Paul, and presently offers flights from 14 gateways to Dublin and 2 to Shannon, incorporating daily nonstop flights between Minneapolis−Saint Paul and Dublin.
